Last Litter Program
Our Last Litter Program is designed to help reduce the number of unwanted or unplanned litters in our community. By surrendering the litter to us, we help break the cycle by desexing the mum at one of our chosen vets before she returns to her home.
We can assist at any stage during the pregnancy or whelping process.
Haven Before Heaven
Sometimes when an animal comes into care it is determined that their ongoing medical expenses and care are too extensive for adoption - So we created our Haven Before Heaven program.
This program allows us to find loving long-term foster homes for animals to live out their best remaining days, whilst we ensure all of their medical costs are covered. We never say no to treatment because it’s too expensive.

Rehabilitation
Sometimes when an animal comes into our care, they require rehabilitation. This may be physical, behavioural or both. There’s no way to speed up this process, it just takes time and patience. Sometimes the animal will be in our care for over 6 months receiving treatments. Not only are the treatments costly, but so is the routine care. Without the support of our generous donors, we would not have the funds available for this program.

Critical Care
Often our partner vets, pounds and other rescues reach out to us with high-needs, emergency cases. These cases may sadly face euthanasia if we cannot commit to immediate medical treatment and rehabilitation. Our mission is to ensure that every animal is given a fair chance. However, these cases are incredibly expensive, often upwards of $7000.00, including aftercare and rehabilitation. Without the generous support of our community, we would not be able to provide critical care support.
