Meet Pixie

Pixie is a gentle, affectionate young dilute calico cat with large, beautiful eyes that shift from gold to green.

After coming into care as a stray and lovingly raising her kittens, she’s finally ready for a life where she gets to feel safe, cherished, and adored.

Pixie is wonderfully people-oriented and loves company. She’ll follow you around the house with the light, elegant steps of a tiny ballerina, and she’ll look up at you with those big, expressive eyes full of hope and love.

She has a playful streak too — as you walk by, she may give you a soft, cheeky tap with her paw to invite you to play.

When she’s happy, she’s peaceful and calm, but she’s also not shy about using her loud, expressive meow when she wants attention or when something (like vet visits) isn’t to her liking. She’s also a clever girl who understands some commands and picks up new routines quickly.

Pixie would be a wonderful companion for children thanks to her gentle nature. She can live with dogs, especially patient pups who don’t mind a playful swat before she settles down beside them. With other cats, she does best with slow, supervised and thoughtful introductions so she can feel secure.

After coming into care very underweight, Pixie now enjoys grazing throughout the day. She’s not demanding — she simply appreciates having food available and a calm, steady environment.

She may be a little skittish at first, given her tough start in life, but once she realises she’s safe, she blossoms into a loving, loyal, playful companion who wants nothing more than to be near her people.

If you’re looking for a sweet, graceful, affectionate cat with a playful spark and the most expressive eyes you’ve ever seen, Pixie might be the perfect addition to your home. She’s ready to meet her forever family — and she’ll love you with her whole heart.
